Kevin Reese

(He/Him)

Coordinator

Kevin Reese is a sixth-generation native of the Spring Creek and Hot Springs area, rooted deep in the rhythms of these mountains. As coordinator at Azule, Kevin is the bridge between artists and Appalachia—connecting visiting creatives to local resources, tending the living archive, and keeping the house humming with events, documentation, and conversation.

For over a decade, he explored the country as a touring musician alongside long-time collaborator Pierce Edens, sharing their unique blend of boot-scuffing, Appalachian-fried Folk Rock.

Kevin also serves on the Board of Directors for Rebuild Hot Springs Area, a nonprofit born in the wake of Hurricane Helene’s destruction on our community, and is the Platform & Technology Lead for Million Memory Project, an initiative devoted to preserving and connecting collective memory through digital tools.

Our Mission & Vision

Azule is dedicated to both the Arts & our Community through the promotion of programs dedicated to facilitating exchange and providing opportunity.
